The focus on the environment is clearly illustrated by the fact that Michelin employs independent test bodies such as TÜV and DEKRA to test its tyres against its competitors to prove that they last longer and help reduce vehicle CO2 emissions. In 2009 tests MICHELIN Energy Saver and MICHELIN Primacy HP achieved excellent results for tyre life, fuel saving and wet braking.
